Ezecom, the country’s leading supplier of communications services, is hoping to help improve Cambodia’s communication skills with the sponsorship of an Open Debate Forum being held by one of the country’s leading institutions.
The Royal University of Phnom Penh’s Institute of Foreign Languages Debate Club will hold the event on Sunday June 23rd. The event will consist of debates, panel discussions dance performances and music. Five hundred people are expected to attend.
“EZECOM is all about communication which is why we are proud to support the Open Debate Forum,” said EZECOM CEO Paul Blanche Horgan. “The Royal University of Phnom Penh’s Institute of Foreign Languages Debate Club fosters the improvement of public speaking and debate which are very important skills.”
The Royal University of Phnom Penh’s Institute of Foreign Languages Debate Club was founded in 2001. Since then it has helped students improve their public speaking skills and foster positive attitudes towards open discussion.
The Debate Club also offers public speaking workshops and study trips.
